In an everyday life of a person who’s busy thriving, grinding, and reaching their day to day goals, maintaining a 10-12 step skincare routine every morning & evening could be tedious and a big hassle on their part, but I believe this shouldn’t

be an excuse to neglect self-care , and of course skincare.

Considering how the pollution and other skin aggressors we encounter daily

could cause a lot of mishap for our skin, taking care of it in a circadian basis is committal.

But what If I tell there’s a brand that’s specifically created to cut down that lengthy process of your day to day routine & narrow it down to 3-4 steps, but in return, you’ll still be getting the benefits of the typical 10-12 step routine, that would be a dream, right?

Enter Blithe Cosmetics,

A smart korean skincare brand that is known for their multitasking products that targets micro-pollutants, and other environmental aggressors , which causes premature aging to our the skin.

In this series of reviews I’ll be talking about Blithe Cosmetics, and four of their products which they’ve sent me along side style Korean, for the Try Me, Review Me event.

First up,

Anti Polluaging Cleansing Water – Himalayan Pink Salt

- CLAIMS

A cleansing water which contains about 44% Himalayan Pink Salt that is known to protect and detoxify the skin, this has an essence-like formulation that adequately removes make up, oil and dirt from your face.

- KEY INGREDIENTS

Unlike other cleansing water, Blithe’s Antipolluaging with Pink Salt contains a lot of good skin conditioning ingredients like; sea salt extract, butylene glycol, capric glycerides, & Ipomoea Batatas Root Extract. This also has a good amount of anti oxidant rich ingredients like, Lycium Chinense Fruit Extract and, Raspberry Fruit Extract. It’s also good for that extra brightening boost with it’s ingredient , Morus Nigra Fruit Extract.

This is also Paraben, sulfate, EU allergen, silicon, and Alcohol free, fungal acne safe.

Check the complete ingredient list here.

- APPLICATION

During your A.M.Routine, saturate a cotton pad/ball with the product and gently wipe your face in an outward motion, which should be followed by your regular routine. On the other hand, this should be your first step of cleansing during your P.M. routine especially on the days you wear make up, leave it for about 15-20 seconds per area as needed, then wipe it off, which is then followed by your regular nighttime skincare routine.

- THOUGHTS & EXPERIENCES

Texture & Scent:

True to it’s claims the texture is similar to that of an essence, but is a bit thicker, more moisturizing and soothing than the common miscellar water. Those who are sensitive to scents, might not like that this has a noticeable light floral hint to it, but for me it isn’t too strong to bother me at all.

Packaging:

:It is enclosed on a frosted plastic bottle that has a gradient pink color to it to represents the Himalayan salt, it also has the standard geometric print that can be seen in all of their boxes. The one that was sent to me has a label for the description and ingredients but were all written in Korean characters, which wasn’t helpful. I do suggest that the company place at least a sticker with an English version of the description placed at the back of the box to help their consumer who isn’t knowledgeable in the Korean language to get a quick background about the product, this also goes for the other three product boxes as well.

Personally, on days when I wear make up it takes around 3-5 cotton pads soaked with regular miscellar water to thoroughly remove the residues on my face, but when I started using this, It only took 2 cotton pad that is well saturated to remove the whole make up around the other areas of my face except the eye area, since this cleansing water has the tendency to sting the eye when used near it due to it’s content, but other than that, this serves as a good cleansing water, that in the long run could really deliver added benefits for your skin, but the price is too steep for my liking.

Verdict:

This is one of those unique cleansing water, that does not only removes the dirt, oil and make up from your face, but has a lot of added benefits. It is infused with Himalayan pink salt which I love, since it helped detoxify my skin without leaving it dry, this also helped balance my skin’s PH level to remain well balanced, and is great for people like me who has oily skin since it lessens the sebum production.
