REVIEW: BLITHE Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum

- CLAIMS

A unique hybrid formula of a moisturizer and serum that contains 60% of chaga mushroom that is cold pressed to ensure that all it’s nutritional benefits is locked inside the product, it’s combined with argan and olive oil that will aid provide moisture, hydration , while protecting the skin from pollution.

KEY INGREDIENTS

This product has a good amount of fermented oils like olive oil, lemon peel, cedarwood bark oil, geranium oil, meadowfoam oil, and hydrogenated oil which all contributes in moisturizing and nourishing the skin. Damaged & acne prone skin will benefit greatly from this because of the high concentration of the chaga mushroom on it’s ingredient list. It doesn’t stop there because this could also prevent the speed of your skin’s aging with it’s adenosine content.

Application

Using the spatula get a pea size product, place on the palm, rub it between your hand to heat it, then slowly pressed it onto your face and let it melt and absorbed well.

Texture & Scent

It has a thick custard like texture and a brown tint, that naturally came from the chaga mushrooms which eventually fades once applied to the skin, despite it having a thick consistency once heated in the palm of your hand and applied to your face it melts and absorbed very well by the skin. In terms of scent, it has a very light earthy / wood scent to it.

Packaging

The product is placed in a well sealed purple frosted jar, it also has a small spatula included that is convenient for users to control the amount of product they’ll be getting and to avoid having bacteria to it.

VERDICT

This was called the NEXT “IT” SKINCARE PRODUCT by Yahoo last 2016, and I couldn’t agree more. It’s an innovative hybrid formula which contains mainly the ingredient; chaga mushrooms, that has an affluent blend of Vitamin B (riboflavin, niacinamide, and thiamine) which is a reason why it’s a cogent anti oxidizing, anti bacterial, and of course an anti-inflammatory ingredient . It also helps in regenerating the skin cells which later on prevents free radical damage on our skin that can speed up the process of aging, this also contains fermented oils which also serves as a strong nourishing ingredient which I think is overall amazing. Another thing I adore about this product is the fact that it provides deep hydration, correct application is always the key, this noticeably melts onto your skin without leaving a heavy and oily residue. They have created this for all skin types, but even I who has an oily-acne prone skin loves this, at my morning routine this serves as a good make up primer too!

This product has improved my skin and made it supple, this for me is worth the price considering the potent ingredients, the fact that you’ll only need a tiny amount (this product will last me months!), and of course, it has and the long term benefits you’ll gained after prolonged use.
